Audi Development Camp is yet another example of close professional cooperation between Széchenyi István University and Audi Hungaria in Győr.
This summer camp provides fully project-based education for student on the fields of Robotics, Programming, IT, Mechatronics, Vehicle engineering and Mechanical engineering. The camp is for BSc and MSc students with a basic understanding of robotics and programming in Python or C++. The official language of the camp is English. Participating students receive full technical training from the mentors.
The date of the camp is 20 July - 27 July 2026. Participants work in teams on the development and integration of a complex robotic system, gaining hands-on experience in system-level design and implementation.This year, students will tackle an industry-related robotics challenge provided by Audi Hungaria. Working in interdisciplinary teams, participants will focus on a clearly defined technical problem, aiming to design and develop an optimal, feasible, and innovative solution. The project process follows a structured engineering and guiding students from problem definition and system concept development through simulation, implementation, and validation."
Students can apply by 30 April 2026 by completing the registration form and paying the €15 registration fee via SimplePay (within 24 hours of submitting the form). Based on their CVs, the top applicants will be invited to an online interview, where they can introduce themselves to the mentors and organizers of the Audi Development Camp. Following the interviews, the selected candidates will be invited to participate in the camp. The tuition fee for the one-week programme is €365, which includes accommodation, lectures, lunch during the camp, catering at the opening and closing ceremonies, an official T-shirt, a microcredential certificate, mentoring and teaching materials, a factory visit at Audi Hungaria, and memorable professional experiences. Scholarships are available for the top 7% of students based on their interview performance.
During the one-week summer camp, students work in teams on specific topics. At the beginning of the programme, they receive preparatory training from experienced international trainers at Széchenyi István University to help prepare them for the final project.
The winning team of the Audi Development Camp will receive exclusive gifts and experiences, and their work will be presented to representatives of Audi Hungaria.
Széchenyi István University provides on-campus accommodation for participants. In the afternoons students can network with other members, mentors and participate in team building activities. The goal of the camp is to support motivated, hard-working and challenge- seeking students how to get the best out of their career.
