Who can register for the camp?
The camp is intended for BSc and MSc students studying or just completing their studies in the fields of IT, Electronics, Mechatronics,Vehicle Engineering and Economist students (marketing,management, internal relations etc.)
How many scholarship places will be available?
The top 10% of the attendees will get a scholarship based on their admission interview performance.
What are the conditions of obtaining a scholarship for the camp?
The top 10% of the students have the opportunity to get a scholarship. For them, the tuition fee of €200 is covered by Széchenyi István University.
How can I apply for a scholarship?
Once you apply for the camp, you’ll be automatically entered in the selection process for a scholarship. After the interview we will inform you whether you have received a scholarship or not. If you won’t get any scholarship, you will still have the opportunity to take part in the camp as a self-funding student.
What is covered by the scholarship?
The scholarship covers all contents provided by the full tuition fee. For these, please see the answer below on the tuition fee.
What does the tuition fee include?
The tuition fee includes accommodation, lunch during the camp, catering during the closing and opening ceremony, access to industry relevant hardware and software, lectures, certificate provided by Audi Development Camp, consultation with mentors, all teaching materials, Audi Hungaria factory visit, ZalaZONE test track visit, official T-shirt and some of the team building activities.
If you don’t have a lot of experience in these fields, but you would like to improve yourself. Are you suitable for the camp?
The most important thing is to be motivated. In the beginning of the camp, all students will take part in the lectures, where they can build up their skills from basics to professional level. During the camp the attendees will receive the opportunity to consult with professional experts and mentors from the University and AUDI Hungaria.
What does the accommodation look like?
It will be at the Széchenyi University’s Dormitory at the main campus Egyetem square 1. The participants would be in shared rooms with 2-3 other ADC participants. More information about the dormitory: https://kollegium.sze.hu/dormitories
Is there any organized transportation from Budapest to Gyor or any other airport?
There will not be any organized transportation but trains are available and here is more information about the schedule: https://jegy.mav.hu/
Does the camp provide insurance for the foreign attendees?
No, it does not. Every attendee should do it individually.
Is there a minimum number of participants of the camp?
Yes, there is but we encourage everyone who is interested in the camp to apply.
Can we have a draft of the schedule of the program?
Unfortunately we can not publish the schedule until you are not admitted, but it will look like: 1-2 days for lectures and the remaining days for project work, consultation and organized team building activities.
Is there any other cost that students have to pay extra? I am asking about the local transportation, airport pick-up and drop-off, etc.
Yes, the transportation and the extra individual cost (e.g.: free time activities, transportation except the organized tours to ZalaZONE and Audi Hungaria, and the daily meals except lunch) All the elements which were mentioned on our website are provided for students.
Will the interview be arranged only for scholarship or is like the overall interview for academic background and language proficiency?
There will be two interviews, one is about the applicant's experiences, motivation of joining the camp, also their interest in these fields and one for language proficiency. The camp’s official language is English so the interviews will be held in English regardless of the applicant nationality.
