We asked Andres, why did he apply for the Audi Development Camp.

I applied for the Audi Development Camp because I was very interested in the unique educational concept to cover all aspects of the engineering profession with the cooperation of the university and the companies AUDI AG and AUDI Hungary. I was also very interested
in the opportunity to meet and establish contacts with international technical professionals. Moreover, the topics to be developed in the camp would be topics that were discussed in my graduate thesis.

My motivation was to learn the technology that Audi is developing as well as the tasks related to the Hardware-in-the-Loop/Software-in-the-Loop simulation on the Audi e-tron electric vehicle during the camp. Finally the opportunity to develop a career in Audi Hungaria's Whole Vehicle Development.

Andres studied in Széchenyi István University. He chose this university because he really liked the Audi Hungaria Faculty of Automotive Engineering and the great professors who are nationally and internationally recognized. Finally, the university has very good
connections with the Audi Hungaria company.

During the camp he learned new programs such as control desk. In addition, he learned how the battery management system (BMS) works and how to develop it in Simulink. Andres also learned not only to work efficiently in a team but also to create friendships between teammates from different countries. Finally, to have a better understanding of the SIL and HIL concepts that nowadays are the most used technologies for the development of simulations in vehicles in real time with the support of the company dSPACE.

During his free time, his teammates and Andres went out for a walk around the city and did recreational activities like playing soccer or football games. Sometimes, they went to play basketball or volleyball. Finally, they went go karting and competed to see who would be the best at that game.

Audi Development Camp is a great opportunity to do this program because you have the opportunity to develop and get involved in the new concepts and technologies that are being used today. In addition, to have the opportunity to meet people experimenting in the topics of vehicleresearch in simulation. Finally, to have the opportunity to be part of a great team such as Audi Hungaria Audi AG and Széchenyi István University.
