About the project of 2023

Audi Development camp is yet another example of close professional cooperation between Széchenyi István University, GyőrAudi Hungaria in Győr and Audi AG in Ingolstadt, and the partner industry members, dSPACE and Gamax Laboratory Solutions.

This summer camp provides fully project-based education for Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronical Engineering and Vehicle Engineering students in their BSc or MSc studies. The official language of the camp is English. Participating students will receive full technical training from the mentors.

The date of the camp is 02 July - 29 July. This year, students will have to solve current industry-related tasks, as proposed by Audi AG. Participating students will have to complete Hardware-in-the-Loop / Software-in-the-Loop simulations and Engine application tasks related to an Audi vehicle.

Students can apply by 16 April by filling in the registration form on the website and sending their professional CV and motivation letter. The best students are invited to an online interview, where they can introduce themselves to the mentors and organizers of the Audi Development Camp. After the interviews, best students are admitted to the Camp. Students need to pay a €100 application fee after they have been accepted to Audi Development Camp. On the other hand, the programme fee for the 4-week camp is €2200, which includes accommodation, lectures, lunch during the first week, catering during the closing and opening ceremony, official T-shirt, certificate provided by dSPACE, mentors, teaching materials, Audi Hungaria factory visit and ZalaZONE Test track visit. The most talented students have the opportunity to win a scholarship, and for them the programme fee is covered by Széchenyi István University.

During the four-week summer camp, students work in teams on specific topics. In the first weeks, they will receive appropriate training from experienced international trainers at dSPACE and MATLAB (with the help of Gamax Laboratory Solutions) to help prepare students for the final project.

The winning team of the Audi Development Camp will receive exclusive Audi products and experience, as well as the opportunity to establish a career in Audi Hungaria's Vehicle Development Department and related fields.

Széchenyi István University will provide accommodation and lunch for the participants of the camp on the campus. In the afternoon, students will have the opportunity to network with mentors and participate in team building activities.

The goal of the camp is to teach motivated, hard-working and challenge seeking students how to get the best out of their career.

If you meet these criteria, don’t hesitate to apply by 16th April.
